This date also celebrates the anniversary of the Global Challenges Forum’s founding in Geneva in 2010, reinforcing its mission of fostering resilience through strategic foresight and action.

The Global Resilience Compact & 1M2030 Initiative
The Global Resilience Compact is mobilizing changemakers worldwide. Aligned with the One Million Youth Leaders for Sustainable Development (1M2030) initiative, this effort equips the next generation with the tools and knowledge to lead transformative change.
A key step is the development of a 1M2030 Global Citizenship Certificate, which connects youth skilling with the vision of a Global Resilience University and ensures that learning translates into impact.
