GCF 10-Year Anniversary, 16 November 2020
On the occasion of the United Nations' International Day for Tolerance, November 16th, the Global Challenges Forum Foundation (GCF) marked its 10th anniversary with the launch of the one-year long Global Partnership Virtual Summit, which introduced the Global Partnership Declaration. This joint Declaration, by GCF's Founder and Honorary Chairman, Dr. Talal Abu Ghazaleh, and GCF's Co-Founder and Chairman, Dr. Walter Christman, aims at fostering "better ties between the United States, China, and other nations to enhance global resilience [and tolerance] in the 21st Century". In view of such objective, "the Global Challenges Forum Foundation issues the call to Unite in Global Partnership".

The Global Challenges Initiative
The Global Challenges Initiative (GCI) was officially launched on November 16th, 2010, with three days of intense discussions and planning by global experts. Calling upon leading organizations in the non-governmental, academic, public, private and government sectors , the 2010 forum sought to frame the first set of challenges to be addressed, set the scope of future GCI activities, and determine a structure for the 'Forum of Forums'.
